Marvel Comics Announces New STAR WARS Series From New York Comic Con

Marvel Comics has announced three new Star Wars series that will launch in 2024: THRAWN: ALLIANCES, MACE WINDU, and JANGO FETT.

At the Lucasfilm Publishing panel at New York Comic Con, an all-star lineup of Star Wars talent joined Lucasfilm Publishing creative director Michael Siglain to give fans a first look at what next year holds for Marvel Comics’ line of Star Wars comic books.

Marvel Comics will launch a host of new Star Wars comic books in 2024, including:

• STAR WARS: THRAWN – ALLIANCES, a limited series written by Jody Houser and illustrated by Andrea Di Vito and Pat Olliffe, which will adapt Timothy Zahn’s best-selling novel to comics. The series will follow Grand Admiral Thrawn as he begins his legendary rise to power and forges a lasting and deadly partnership with Darth Vader.
• STAR WARS: MACE WINDU, a limited series written by Marc Bernardin and illustrated by Georges Jeanty, which will follow the legendary Jedi as he investigates an incendiary secret that threatens the balance of the galaxy. The series will also introduce Azita Cruuz, a pirate with a deadly secret who is pursued by both the Hutts and the Republic.
• BOUNTY HUNTERS #42, which will be released in February 2024, will conclude the series with an explosive finale. Valance the bounty hunter will have one final mission to complete, and he may not survive!
• STAR WARS: JANGO FETT, an ongoing series written by Ethan Sacks and illustrated by Luke Ross, which will follow the infamous bounty hunter on his latest mission.

“I’m very proud of Marvel’s Star Wars lineup in 2024 and grateful for the positive reaction the announcements got at the con,” Senior Editor Mark Paniccia said. “This isn’t the half of it though. I really wish I could tease more of what’s coming but Vader would have my throat!”
