Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con is heading back to sin city June 19th-21st, and they are pulling out all of the stops. What started as a relatively small show has blown up into one of the premier comic conventions in Nevada. Geek News Network couldn’t pass up the chance to head up, and I’m excited to say that I’ll be in attendance all three days of the con.
This year, ALVC is doing things a bit different, offering convention goers a ton of different VIP Package options, each uniquely tailored to the huge bevy of guests in attendance. Each package deal consists of different photo ops, signings, exclusive prints, variant covers, sketches, fast passes, reserved seating, and more, depending upon each guest’s forte. With packages ranging from The Deadpool Extreme Package and the The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle VIP Package, to the Sailor Moon Galaxy and the Power Rangers Allstar Package, and the certain-to-sell-out John Barrowman VIP Package, there is a package to tantalize even the hardest to please attendee. Each Package includes VIP Check-in, Early Entrance to Main Floor on each of the 3 days, and priority seating for General Admission Panels, and then are filled out with giant goodie bags dependent upon the individual package. Packages range from 150$ to 200$, and can be purchased now on the ALVC website.
In addition to the packages, ALVC has brought in some incredible guests from across all of pop culture. John Barrowman, of course, is going to be a huge draw, and his spotlight panel is certain to pack the hall. Rob Leifeld, Kevin Eastman, George Perez, Greg Capullo, and more artists that can be listed will be present as well, enabling many to meet some of the best and most well-known comic book artists working today. There will be vendors galore in the exhibitors hall, slinging some of the most sought after collectibles, comics, games, and costumes.
With so much going on at Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con this year, it should be a priority for attendees to sit down and make a plan of attack. I cannot wait to make the drive up to Vegas for this event, and hope to see you wandering the halls of the South Point Hotel!

The Jack-of-all-trades, caffeine fiend, and wearer of many hats (figuratively and literally). Photographer, writer, educator, fedora, driver, trilby’s. My photography teeth were cut in the live entertainment industry, shooting concerts, live events, and conventions. I came to photography for an additional creative outlet to supplement my writings and as a side gig to my college teaching position, and I’ve now been shooting for the better part of a decade. Music and concert photography are my biggest passions, though I had to learn the harsh lesson that head banging and holding a camera steady don’t readily mix. A literature geek first and foremost, I read the entire Lord of the Rings series in 3rd grade, began a lifelong love affair with the Star Wars extended universe shortly after, and wrote my MA Lit thesis on Neil Gaiman. When not shooting or editing, you’ll find me incorporating Star Trek into lesson plans, playing some iteration of Zelda on any one of my Nintendo System, geeking out about indie comics over a very large iced coffee, or simply writing.
