We have been around since 2010 and have shown steady growth each year. We are focusing this year on growth in our programming schedule as well as bringing in more amazing guests.

Our main goal is to provide the Tucson anime community with an amazing show that entertains, teaches, and excites our attendees. We do this by building a strong programming schedule that has panels that will do everything from teach you how to be a better voice actor to entertain you with classics like “Whos line is it Anime”.

Making her first appearance, Monica is scheduled to attend Con-Nichiwa 2012. Monica Rial is an American voice actress, ADR director, and scriptwriter working for ADV films and FUNimation. As a voice actress, she has lent her voice to over 200 anime including: “Chrono Crusade”, “Azumanga Daioh”, “Noir”, “Trinity Blood”, “Excel Saga”, “The Super Milk-Chan Show”, “Claymore”, “One Piece”, “Ghost Stories”, “Colorful!”, “Hello Kitty Animation Theater”, “Gasaraki”, “Witchblade”, and the ever popular “Fullmetal Alchemist”. Currently, Monica can be heard on Nicktoons and the CW network as Bulma in “Dragonball Z Kai”

Mike McFarland is scheduled to attend Con-Nichiwa this year. Mike got his start in anime as one of the first voice actors in Texas to be hired by FUNimation in 1997, and has since moved on to become a Director, Script Writer, and Line Producer for numerous anime series. Notable roles include Master Roshi, Yajirobe, Android #8 and Pui-Pui in “Dragon Ball” and “Dragon Ball Z”, Baby and Baby-Vegeta in “Dragon Ball GT”, Goemon in “Lupin The Third” (Movie Specials), Ritsu Sohma in “Fruits Basket”, Lt. Jean Havoc in “Fullmetal Alchemist”, Cain in “Trinity Blood”, Buggy the Clown in “One Piece”, Ranka Fujioka in “Ouran High School Host Club”, as well as various roles in “Yu Yu Hakusho”, “Nerima Daikon Brothers”, “Kodocha”, “Desert Punk”, “Black Cat”, “Kiddy Grade, and many others.

Returning to Arizona, Colleen Clinkenbeard will also make her first appearance at Con-Nichiwa 2012. Colleen Clinkenbeard is a voice actor/ADR director/ADR scriptwriter/ Line Producer for FUNimation. Her voice acting credits include: Rose Thomas and Riza Hawkeye in “Fullmetal Alchemist”, Luffy in the new FUNimation dub of “One Piece”, Sister Esther in “Trinity Blood”, Rose in “Solty Rei”, Reina from “Witchblade” and much more.

Making his first appearance at Con-Nichiwa in March will be Kyle Hebert. Kyle Hebert is a Los Angeles-based anime and video game voice actor whose credits include Ryu from “Marvel Vs Capcom 3”, Kiba in “Naruto”, Aizen and Ganju from “Bleach”, all male voices in “X Men Arcade” and Kamina from “Gurren Lagann”. He is best known as the Narrator and Teen Gohan from the FUNimation dub of “Dragonball Z”. Kyle also provides voices in numerous video games including “Final Fantasy XIII”, “World of Warcraft”, “Devil May Cry 4”, “Dynasty Warriors”, and James Cameron’s “Avatar”.
