A new trailer for Loki season 2 was released today, giving fans a first look at the upcoming season of the hit Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) series. The trailer, which was released on the official Marvel Entertainment YouTube channel, teases a darker and more dangerous journey for Loki as he faces off against a new threat.
The trailer reveals the new threat Loki is facing is Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), who was first introduced in the MCU in the film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Kang is a powerful time traveler who is determined to conquer the universe, and he will be a formidable opponent for Loki.
Tom Hiddleston returns as Loki, the God of Mischief, alongside Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Renslayer, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong as Miss Minutes, Neil Ellice, Jonathan Majors, and Owen Wilson as Mobius, who are all reprising their roles from the first season. The new season will also feature Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, and Ke Huy Quan.
Loki season 2 is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on October 6th and will consist of six episodes. It will be part of Phase Five of the MCU.
