Please contact the rePLAY PR team if you’d like to attend or to speak with the creators prior to the event.

rePLAY: Symphony of Heroes will take place on Sunday, July 6 at 2:30pm PDT, in Hall B of the Los Angeles Convention Center during Anime Expo.

Featuring the music of Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Mass Effect, BioShock, Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid, Halo and other award-winning games, played by a live 72-piece orchestra, and 24 voice choir, the Anime Expo Special Edition of rePLAY: Symphony of Heroes spotlights the works of legendary composers including Nobuo Uematsu, Yoko Shimomura, Garry Schyman and others. This is sure to be an unforgettable, symphonic and visual experience.

rePLAY is a one-of-a-kind production that features high-definition gameplay videos, shown in perfect sync with the music. It presents the most memorable video game scores from AAA to indie titles through a musical narrative inspired by Joseph Campbell’s “monomyth.” The story is accompanied by visuals from the games themselves, and narrated by Nigel Carrington of Dear Esther.
