This is quite possibly the best news EVER; The Farrelly Brothers 1994 hit comedy, “Dumb and Dumber,” starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, officially got the green light to start production on the sequel thanks to Red Granite Pictures and Universal Pictures.
The sequel, cleverly titled “Dumb and Dumber To,” recently lost some mojo when Warner Bros. Pictures passed on the sequel a couple of days ago, but today, on twitter, The Farrelly Brothers tweeted:

We can now forgot about “Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd,” and move on with our lives…
And lastly, to my knowledge, both Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are still onboard for the sequel.
