Watch: Full San Diego Comic-Con Panel For Matt Reeves’ ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’

Now, this might sound a little ludicrous, but I’m generally more excited about Matt Reeves“Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,” then something like Marvel’s “Avengers Age of Ultron,” or “Guardians of the Galaxy.” Don’t get me wrong, I was at the Marvel panel and they completely blew me away, but it’s something about those damn apes (Andy Serkis) that get me every-time.

Anyways, I wish I could show you the trailer I saw for “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,” but I can’t. What I can present to you is the panel where director Matt Reeves and actors, Keri Russell, Jason Clarke, and Andy Serkis (Caesar) come together along with panel moderator Geoff Boucher to discuss the film:

“A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.”

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,” which is directed by Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, Let Me In), hit theaters July 18th, 2014, and stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Enrique Murciano, Kirk Acevedo, and Judy Greer.
