A Haunting In Venice | Official Trailer

Watch the brand-new trailer for A Haunting In Venice, only in theaters on September 15.

Kenneth Branagh, the Oscar®-winning director, and actor will direct and star in A Haunting in Venice, a supernatural thriller based on Agatha Christie’s novel “Hallowe’en Party”. The film is set to be released in theaters nationwide on September 15, 2023.

In A Haunting in Venice, Poirot is retired and living in Venice when he reluctantly attends a séance at a decaying, haunted palazzo. When one of the guests is murdered, Poirot is thrust into a sinister world of shadows and secrets.

The film reunites the team of filmmakers behind 2017’s Murder on the Orient Express and 2022’s Death on the Nile. The screenplay is by Oscar® nominee Michael Green (“Logan”) and the producers are Kenneth Branagh, Judy Hofflund, Ridley Scott, and Simon Kinberg. The cast includes Kenneth Branagh, Kyle Allen, Camille Cottin, Jamie Dornan, Tina Fey, Jude Hill, Ali Khan, Emma Laird, Kelly Reilly, Riccardo Scamarcio, and Michelle Yeoh.

A Haunting in Venice is a terrifying mystery set in eerie, post-World War II Venice. The film promises to be a dark and atmospheric thriller that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats.

In a statement, Branagh said:

“This is a fantastic development of the character Hercule Poirot, as well as the Agatha Christie franchise. Based on a complex, little-known tale of mystery set at Halloween in a pictorially ravishing city, it is an amazing opportunity for us, as filmmakers, and we are relishing the chance to deliver something truly spine-chilling for our loyal movie audiences.”

The film is currently in production and is scheduled to be released in theaters nationwide on September 15, 2023.
