Apple debuted an official trailer for Alexandre Moors’ newest film, “Blue Caprice,” which is based off the Beltway Sniper Attacks in D.C. that happened back in 2002 killing ten people and injuring many more. From what I hear, “Blue Caprice,” is a powerful film and Isaiah Washington does a spectacular job playing as John Allen Muhammad, the man behind the Beltway attacks alongside seventeen-year-old Lee Boyd Malvo.
Check out the trailer below and film synopsis after the jump:
“‘Blue Caprice’ is a haunting psychological thriller about an abandoned boy (Richmond) lured to America into the shadows of a dangerous father figure (Washington). Inspired by true events, the film investigates the notorious and horrific Beltway sniper attacks from the point of view of the two killers, whose distorted father-son relationship facilitated their long and bloody journey across America.”
“Blue Caprice,” which is directed by Alexandre Moors, hits (limited) theaters September 13th, 2013, and stars Isaiah Washington, Tequan Richmond, Joey Lauren Adams, Tim Blake Nelson, and Leo Fitzpatrick.
