Very few films reach cult classic status. It takes a special blend of script, acting and direction to make such a phenomenon occur. The Dead Don't Die seems like a film that's primed and ready to become a cult classic, but something is missing.

With the recent push for diversity in Hollywood, we've seen more and more films representing people of color and varying genders. Some of those films have gone under the radar, such as last year's Blindspotting. The Last Black Man in San Francisco offers similar thematics to Blindspotting, while widening the diversity options even further.

5B is a documentary about the early days of the AIDS epidemic in San Francisco. It covers a period from 1983 to 2003, when ward 5B in the San Francisco General Hospital was one of the first medical facilities dedicated to AIDS. The film features interviews with various hospital staff, AIDS survivors, and relatives of people who contracted the disease.

Dark Phoenix is nowhere near the quality of First Class and Days of Future Past, but it’s not terrible. It’s just feels dated and lacks any kind of personality for these characters.

Since I can remember, the 1992 Disney version of Aladdin has always been my favorite animated feature film. As a kid I fell in love with the intriguing story, the over-the-top characters, and the incredibly memorable songs.
