Ms. Behaving highlighting Lethal Ladies in Cinema

Friday September 20th, 10pm at FilmBar the Midnite Movie Mamacita returns with Ms. Behaving; highlighting wicked women, lethal ladies and bad girls in film.  In The Doll Squad the late Michael Ansara stars as a vicious evil mastermind up against a foursome of female agents who are out to stop him from unleashing the bubonic plague in this action packed thriller which is rumored to have inspired Charlie’s Angels! Enter “THE DOLL SQUAD,” (1973) an elite band of female commandos who are as dangerous and deadly as they are beautiful.  Starring Francine York, Rafael Campos, Sherri Vernon (Blood Orgy of the She-Devils) and Tura Satana (Faster, Pussycat…Kill! Kill!), the 1970s live again in Ted V. Mikel’s opus of female action, full-body jumpsuits and shag carpet.

A seven year veteran of hosting film events in the Valley, Andrea Beesley got her start at The Paper Heart in 2006 and since then has shown films on the side of buildings, at the Drive-In and at the now defunct Chandler Cinemas, MADCAP Theaters and The Royale.  Always passionate about obscure films and sharing them with an appreciative audience, Ms. Behaving will feature some of the finest women in exploitation, horror & obscure cinema from years past.  Hosted by Beesley and shown on FilmBar’s big screen with a tasty brew in hand is how these film treasures should be appreciated.
