Back in the last 90’s, Tim Burton was set direct “Superman Lives,” a Superman film that was definitely set to be completely different than what was already out there. Kevin Smith wrote the script and Nicolas Cage was set to star as Superman. However, It got as far as pre-production, but quickly lost momentum after script and budget issues.
Jon Schnepp, who’s worked on great TV Shows like “Metalocalypse” and “Venture Bros.,” decided to raise funds, via Kickstarter, and create a documentary on what really happened to “Superman Lives,” and even explore the concept art and costume design.
