Come one, come all, Lords and Ladies are more than welcome to gather at the Faire, gracing our humble town from February 7th through March 29th. Go back in time to the olden days, of kings, queens, knights, and jesters, see all the magic that awaits you!
The Renaissance Festival celebrates its 27th year in Pinal County, bringing you the fun and excitement of days past. Fun for the whole family, the Faire takes place in a 30 acre village, all decorated with buildings that will remind you of the past. Make a day out of it, or go several times to see all that it has to offer. Wandering around the large area provides to be a joyful venture for anyone, and surprises and fun a wait at any moment. Over 2000 performers will be in attendance, hoping to give you the entertainment you crave. Everything from comedy shows, to acrobats, to fire dancers, there is an act for everyone. Of course when it comes to acts, everyone always loves a good joust! Filling an entire 5000 seat arena, four knights will fight for the favor of the royal family, who will be in the audience. Or if you find yourself a bit peckish, you can join in on the Pleasure Feast, an event with fine food and entertainment. You may even be joined by a dashing prince or a lovely maiden.
Along with having loads of entertainment, the faire is also a place where artisans can show and sell their wares. In the 30 acre village, there are more the 200 stores you can visit. Everything from lotions and potions, to fine garments so you can wear the highest of fashion of the 16th century, you are sure to find the perfect gift. Some stores also give demonstrations, or allow for you to join in on the fun, such as glass blowing, and candle making. If you are hungry, there are booths selling their famous turkey legs, big enough to feed you for an entire afternoon! Or, if you want something sweet, make sure to check out the home-made chocolate, delicious down to the last drop. For older guests, there is alcohol available, and for the kids, cold treats like smoothies, and ice cream to help get through the warm Arizona days.
Feel free to dress in your 16th century best and head down to Apache Junction to experience the faire of the year. It is always a good time, you may find your handsome prince, or be able to give a rose to that special maiden, however you decide to celebrate, it is bound to be tons of fun. Be merry and join us all for the 27th annual Renaissance Festival! Huzzah!

Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for kids 5-12, and free for children under 5, available at Fry’s, at the Faire, they are each an extra $2. Parking is free, thanks to Fry’s Market place. Gates to the Faire open at 10am and close at 6pm, open Saturdays and Sundays, rain or shine. Get more ticketing information at their website HERE.
