Pikachu 3DS XL Coming to North America

Pikachu 3DS XL
It looks like the time has finally come for the Pikachu 3DS XL to make its way over to North America. The vibrant yellow 3DS XL comes with a 4GB SD memory card, and is price at $199.99.

It is worth noting that if you register a new 3DS and either Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity or Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon on Club Nintendo prior to April 30th you will be granted a bonus download code for one of five 3DS games.

The games that are part of the promotion are Super Mario 3D Land, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, Star Fox 64 3D, Freakyforms Deluxe: Your Creations, Alive and Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone.

I know nothing about the last two games, but I have fond memories of Starcraft 64. I have also heard great things about Super Mario 3D Land and Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask.

The Pikachu 3DS XL will be electrocuting the competition on March 24th.

REDMOND, Wash., March 14, 2013 – Pokémon fans will get a jolt of excitement when Nintendo releases the Pikachu Edition Nintendo 3DS XL hand-held system on March 24. This bold yellow Nintendo 3DS XL hardware features a familiar outline of the iconic Pokémon.
