Halloween doesn’t have to be celebrated only in the Disney Parks. Disney Resorts and Downtown Disney have a lot of fun things to do and see during this season. Whether you are a guest at the hotel or just visiting, we will share some fun activities for you to do at the Disney resorts in California.
Trick or Treat
Are you staying at any of the Disneyland Resort hotels? If so you can take the little one’s trick or treating in the hotel! Trick or Treating starts on October 2nd and runs through October 31st. It will run on select afternoons during the month of October. Cast members will give guests a map with the different trick or treat locations throughout the resorts. The Hotels will have crafting sites where you can make a mask, color pages, or create your own pirate hat!
Halloween Decorations
If trick or treating isn’t for you or you don’t have kids, there is plenty to do. You can take a walk through the resorts and downtown Disney. Disney has loads of fun Halloween decorations that are scattered around. Disney’s Grand Californian hotel has a beautiful Pumpkin display in the lobby. The edible pumpkins are made entirely out of rice Krispy
Pumpkin Souvenir
If you happen to be staying at one of the Disneyland Resort hotels you can order a fun a pumpkin bucket for your room. The pumpkin bucket is a light-up Mickey pumpkin bucket filled with fun Halloween treats with a Halloween-themed keepsake and a Mickey Mouse pumpkin light-up lanyard! This treat does cost extra and will be delivered to your hotel room. Guests can request this when booking their stay or after arrival! This Pumpkin bucket is a fun way to get yourself or kids excited for your trip!
Halloween Treats
Before you are done with your trip, make sure that you make a stop in Downtown Disney to pick up some fun Halloween treats! Treats like spooky Mickey cookies, Monster Mickey Whoopie Pies, Scary Cake Pops, and fun Oogie Boogie Rice Krispy treats can be found all around downtown Disney. Disney fans can also check out the shops for fun Disney Halloween merchandise as well. Another way to celebrate with treats is to book a reservation for Halloween High Tea at the Disneyland Resort. Guests can enjoy a nice cup of tea, served with plenty of yummy Halloween goodies.Â
