Summer Treats at Disneyland and DCA!

Disneyland is known for its delicious sweet treats, and as any Disney fan knows they change them out for every season. This summer we see a return of some favorites as well as some new additions to the sweet treat list!

First up, it’s the return of the Dole Whip Donut! That is right! If you like the Pineapple Dole Whip by the Enchanted Tiki Room, you will love this pineapple donut. It’s a soft donut filled with pineapple filling and covered in a meringue frosting, topped with a small umbrella. You can purchase this at the donut and coffee cart to the left of the castle when walking down from Main Street. They bake two batches: one in the morning and one in the afternoon. They also change out flavors over the seasons, so make sure to grab one while you still can!

Next is the memory refreshers that you can get at Bing Bong’s Sweet Treats in California Adventure. There are several different flavors to choose from. It is basically a frozen slushy drink with some different topping choices. It’s a good way to keep yourself cool for sure!

Next up is the mini Ice cream sandwiches treats in Frontierland! They are made from chocolate chip cookies and vanilla ice cream and drizzled in chocolate or caramel. You can get them at the Golden Horse Shoe. Definitely a winner during the hot summer months.

Last but not least you can you can grab yourself an ice cream float at Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream Shop in California Adventure. If you are 21 and over you can also purchase a boozy ice cream float which is an ice cream bar served in alcoholic hard soda or beer! Talk about a good summer treat!
