It’s moments like this that truly make me smile. After 20 years off the big screen, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Secret of the Ooze is returning to the big screen, hosted by TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman! Short of Vanilla Ice jumping on stage and doing the “Ninja Rap” in person this will be the greatest moment of my Ninja Turtle fandom.

About the Event
Ninja Turtles is an all encompassing throwback event featuring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Secret of the Ooze. Presenting costume contests, fully interactive movie going experience, martial arts demo teams, a Q&A with creator Kevin Eastman and Pizza Boy Ernie Reyes, Jr. , and of course a Turtle themed pizza party.

Speaking of those post event Pizza Parties:
On June 25th, after the 8:30PM showtime at Tempe Marketplace an after party will be held at Dave & Busters.
On June 26th, after the 8:30 PM showtime at Gateway Pavillions an after party will be held at Peter Piper Pizza.
Both parties are open to the public, so you are not required to have a ticket to attend. There will be food and drink specials as well.
Special Guests:
Kevin Eastman (born May 30, 1962) is an American comic book artist and writer, best known as the co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Ernie Reyes, Jr. (born January 15, 1972) is a martial artist and actor known for his roles in the movies Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Surf Ninjas, and The Rundown. He has worked in Hollywood for over 25 years for major studios such as Disney, New Line Cinema, Universal, and Paramount.
About the Film:
After their rooftop battle with the Foot Clan, the Turtles find themselves between homes and are living off pizza delivery from “Roy’s” Pizza while staying in April O’Neil’s new apartment with Master Splinter. When April covers the cleanup process underway in the city by TGRI, Splinter recognizes the initials from the canister of mutagen that turned them all into mutants. Meanwhile, the Shredder is alive and well, has resumed command of the Foot, and seeks revenge upon Splinter and his students. Upon learning of the potential for the ooze to mutate animals into minions, he sets out to obtain samples and scientists, kidnapping Professor David Perry of TGRI and forcing him to assist in the creation of two aressive mutants to be his own pupils: Tokka (a snapping turtle) and Rahzar (a wolf).
When the Turtles are discovered in April’s apartment by Keno, the pizza delivery boy, they reveal their history and Keno tells them about the reborn Foot Clan’s efforts to recruit people with fighting ability. Seeing the potential to infiltrate the Foot, Keno offers to sign up but Splinter refuses to put him in danger and believes that they ought to get out of April’s apartment instead. Not willing to simply let the Foot Clan regroup, Rafael abandons the others during their search to team up with Keno while his brothers stumble upon an abandoned Subway Station under the city.
