Another collection for Kingdom Hearts has been announced, this time for the Playstation 4. Dubbed Kingdom Hearts II.8 Final Prologue Chapter, the collection will consist of an HD remake of the 3DS title Dream Drop Distance, a series of cinematics for Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover, as well as a playable episode titled Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth By Sleep: A Fragmentary Passage. The latter appears to follow Aqua’s time in the Realm of Darkness. No news yet on a collection of 1.5 and 2.5 for the PS4 but this announcement is a great sign and Tokyo Game Show is far from over. This collection is slated for 2016, which most likely means the rumored II.9 (1.5 and 2.5) for PS4 drops either 2016 or 2017, with Kingdom Hearts III coming 2017 or 2018. Speculation of course, but not too far-fetched. Stay tuned for more updates from both Kingdom Hearts and TGS.
