Tolkien begins in the early years of the life of J. R. R. Tolkien (Nicholas Hoult) but the majority of the plot is split between his time in the trenches of World War I and his years at school before the war occurs.

Not all of the jokes in The Hustle hit their mark, and the plot is fairly simple for the most part, but overall the film is a fun time at the cinemaplex.

Mary Poppins Returns is the fantasy musical of our generation. It released on Blu-Ray on March 19th and with it came a bevy of behind the scenes bonus features.

Avengers: Endgame is the perfect ending to over a decade of the most ambitious storytelling and well thought out universe that is the MCU.

Missing Link features top-notch vocal performances from Hugh Jackman, Zach Galifianakis, and Zoe Saldana. All three actors dive deep into their characters and are able to make them appear completely believable.

The Chaperone is entertaining and fairly relatable, but it doesn’t offer anything that will stick with you once you’ve left the theater.

In this era of superhero movies dominating the box office, Hellboy gives us a gritty, gorefest standout amongst the clutter of spandex. But the over reliance on the gore for shock value's sake knocks the movie off course and relegates the movie to the campiness reminiscent of Van Helsing and Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters.

So, with hundreds of superhero offerings already available, is Shazam! (not to be mistaken with the horrible 1996 genie movie starring Shaquille O’Neal, Kazaam) worth the time?
